Female Fertility
In women, fertility is generally associated with the Yin and Yang functions of the Kidney system. Both aspects of the Kidney must be functional if fertilization is to take place and a healthy child is to develop. Yin Jing, in this regard, represents the hormones and other substances and fluids related to reproductive functioning and fertility. Yang Jing is the primal power source of a woman’s sexual drive (libido). Over many centuries, the Chinese have become experts at female fertility, using extremely safe and healthful herbs as the primary tool for nurturing the organs that result in fertility and the birth of a healthy child.
Formulations that Nurture Female Fertility
A woman seeking to become pregnant should take Women’s Jing to increase fertilization potential. This sophisticated formulation, designed to promote female fertility, increases both the Yang and Yin Jing of a woman. It improves blood and Qi circulation to the pelvic organs, warms the uterus and increases sexual drive. It helps regulate hormonal functions. It thus promotes fertility. Blood is Yin, but the warmth and circulation are Yang. Without both, fertilization and pregnancy cannot succeed.

Male Fertility
Male fertility is generally believed to be fostered by the use of Yin and Yang Jing formulations, especially ones containing Polygonum multiflorum, Deer Antler, Astragalus and any number of the other male sexual tonics like Epimedium and Cistanches
Several excellent formulations may increase male fertility. These include Shou Wu Formulation, Ant Essence Capsules, Supreme Creation
Two excellent formulas that men may use to increase sperm production and fertility are Shou Wu Formulation and Ant Essence Capsules. It is beneficial to consume Astragalus Capsules as a separate supplement. Astragalus has been shown to increase sperm mobility and survival, and therefore to improve the chances of fertilization. Three capsules of Shou Wu Formulation or Ant Essence Capsules and three capsules of Astragalus, taken three times a day for several weeks may have dramatic results.
Polygonum is used to increase sperm count and to tonify Jing. Astragalus improves the Qi of the sperm and has been shown to increase sperm motility. The herb Polygonum multiflorum is traditionally believed to increase sperm production.
If the man lacks sexual drive, a Yang Jing tonic would be advisable. A number of such formulations are described in the section on sexual tonics. These would include Super Deer Antler Extract, Yang Jing Extract, Imperial Garden, and Male Silk Moth Extract, among others available from Chinese Herbs. All of these formulations increase sexual energy and thus increase sexual activity.
